The Deschutes County Search and Rescue Foundation will be hosting our second annual Lost Ball Classic golf tournament at the Lost Tracks Golf Course on Thursday, May 26, 2016. The tournament will benefit the Deschutes County Search and Rescue Foundation.

Tournament Format

The tournament will be played as a four-person team scramble with a shotgun start. Two teams will be playing against each other throughout the tournament, starting at their assigned holes, and competing against the entire field. Each team will be allowed to purchase 4 mulligans and 3 feet of string prior to the start of the round to be used by anyone on the team as decided by the team captain.

This is intended to be a quality golf experience but a fun event as well. There will be several Challenge Shots at selected holes during the tournament where player can win prizes. Prizes will also be awarded to the First, Second and Third place teams, as well as a prize to the winner of the after-golf putting contest.

About DCSAR Foundation

The DCSAR Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit whose primary mission is to provide funds to supplement the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office budget to purchase equipment and training for the 120 Search and Rescue volunteers. The Foundation’s mission is to raise funds and help support The Deschutes County Search and Rescue organization, and to educate the general public on wilderness safety.
